Effective 01/06/2009
APS remanufactured products are sold on an "exchange" basis, meaning you are exchanging your rack, pump, or box for a remanufactured unit. A "core" refers to your old rack, pump, or box. A core deposit is a deposit you pay until such time that you return a good core to us (in essence you are buying a remanufactured product and its core). The core deposit is refundable when you return your old ‘core’, however your core is subject to our ‘Core Return Policy’. For instance: a damaged core cannot be economically remanufactured therefore it has no value. Damaged cores are not refundable. Damaged cores are typically cores that have been in an accident or fire, they are bent, broken, cracked, weather beaten, or have been disassembled or are missing parts.
1.0 Core Return Policy
1.1 Our Core Return Policy is as follows:
(a) All cores must be returned in APS cartons or a suitable container to prevent shipping damage. A core return slip must be completed and accompany the shipment.
(b) Credit will only be allowed on cores that are in APS's opinion re-buildable. Credit will not be allowed on cores that are cracked, bent, stripped, rusted, weather-beaten, water damaged or burned, or have been disassembled, damaged during transit, or are missing parts.
(c) Core eligibility can only be created by purchases.
(d) Core credits will only be allowed against current invoices with a rolling 12 months cut off.
(e) Cores must be ‘like for like’ substitutions will not be accepted.
(f) Monthly Core return value shall not exceed 110% of the value of cores invoiced for the same period.
(g) APS reserves the right to amend its Core Policy from time to time without notice. Details of the current policy may be viewed at the APS website: australianpowersteering.com.au |
